BluePearl Veterinary Technician - Surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Grand Rapids is the premier specialty and emergency pet hospital serving West Michigan. Our surgical team specializes in the diagnoses and treatment of surgical diseases in dogs and cats.
BluePearl is looking for a remarkable Full - Time Licensed Veterinary Technician with preferably 1-2 years prior veterinary experience to join our surgery department. Experience working in a specialty hospital is not required as we provide comprehensive training for technicians transitioning from general practice. Duties and skills include but are not limited to:
Catheter placement and blood draws
Radiographs and CT imaging
Intubation and Recovery
Surgical Prep
Anesthetic Monitoring
Provide excellent nursing care to patients
Client communication
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Organized and dependable
Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Status : Full-Time
Hours : Daytime, Tuesday thru Friday (Rotating surgical on-call schedule once proficient in position )
