Join our team as a Quality Lab Technician on the 2nd shift, where you will be responsible for testing bulk liquid chemical samples. This role involves conducting various tests, including pH, specific gravity, manual and automated titrations, and solids testing. You will communicate results with the mixing areas and production lines, influencing production continuity. Over time, you'll also test plastic bottles and perform production line checks, while reviewing packaging samples for legibility and appearance. All lab activities must be documented in a LIMS system, and you will work closely with both production and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct tests on bulk liquid chemical samples including pH, specific gravity, titrations, and solids testing.
Communicate test results to mixing areas and production lines to determine production continuation or halt.
Perform testing on plastic bottles and conduct production line checks.
Review production samples of packaging for legibility and appearance.
Document all lab activities in a LIMS system.
Collaborate closely with production and leadership teams.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality control, chemistry, and laboratory analysis.
Strong quality assurance and good documentation practices.
Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work with different levels within the organization.
Confidence to stand behind lab results.
Capacity to work independently, as there is only one other quality professional on the 2nd shift.
Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift role, operating from 3 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday. Occasionally, there may be overtime on Fridays from 3 pm to 11 pm, though it is uncommon. The position is based in a laboratory setting, with occasional need to enter production areas to collect samples. It offers a desirable schedule and an opportunity to advance within the organization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
