ManpowerGroup PSAE - Machine Operator/Production in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal stamping operations, is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator/Production to join their dynamic team. As a Machine Operator/Production, you will play a vital role in supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, aligning seamlessly with the company's values and goals.

Job Title: Machine Operator/Production

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range:

Shift: 1st Shift (Typically between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (Typically between 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM); overtime may be available or required based on production needs.

What's the Job?

  • Load raw sheets of metal into presses following safety and production guidelines.

  • Remove stamped or formed parts from the press area efficiently.

  • Inspect parts for obvious defects or quality concerns to ensure high standards.

  • Stack, organize, and band finished parts for subsequent processing.

  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety procedures and communicating any issues to supervisors.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift comfortably.

  • Willingness to lift up to 40–50 lbs. as needed.

  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.

  • Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude, capable of working in a loud, industrial environment.
