Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal stamping operations, is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator/Production to join their dynamic team. As a Machine Operator/Production, you will play a vital role in supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Job Title: Machine Operator/Production
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range:
Shift: 1st Shift (Typically between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (Typically between 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM); overtime may be available or required based on production needs.
What's the Job?
Load raw sheets of metal into presses following safety and production guidelines.
Remove stamped or formed parts from the press area efficiently.
Inspect parts for obvious defects or quality concerns to ensure high standards.
Stack, organize, and band finished parts for subsequent processing.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety procedures and communicating any issues to supervisors.
What's Needed?
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift comfortably.
Willingness to lift up to 40–50 lbs. as needed.
Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude, capable of working in a loud, industrial environment.
