The ideal candidate will support mechanical design activities, product improvements, and engineering documentation while developing technical skills across multiple engineering disciplines. This role works closely with experienced engineers, cross-functional partners, and internal and external customers to help deliver projects on time and to specification.

Responsible: New product development, extensions, and applications/modifications during the Development & Launch step of the Idea to Launch process
2.Support: Idea & Needs, Vetting steps of the Idea to Launch process; product testing/validation processes

Major Actions and Support Actions Execute product design steps following core engineering practices, standard processes, and discipline Use project plan definitions to deliver solutions for critical success factors in a cross functional project management environment Design and detail products and product modifications to meet technical, safety, and customer specifications Research and develop new technology, equipment, and processes Support product prototyping processes Support product validation processes Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to solve problems
