Warehouse Project Specialist
Location: On-site, Grand Prairie, TX
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift: 10am to 6:30p, with flexibility needed based on client and warehouse needs
Salary: $60k
Position Summary
Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Project Specialist to support one of our clients with operational projects, warehouse coordination, and day to day execution of warehouse activities. This role will assist with onsite and offsite warehouse projects, facility moves, client-driven initiatives, and general warehouse operations from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Execute client-requested warehouse projects both on-site and off-site.
Support daily inbound and outbound processes as needed.
Partner with internal teams including Inventory Control, IT, and Customer Support to resolve operational issues.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse; conduct routine housekeeping checks.
Perform pre shift and post shift facility walk-throughs to ensure equipment and areas are in safe working condition.
Identify and address safety concerns and escalate when needed.
Provide operational support during warehouse moves, reconfigurations, and special projects.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical thinker with a hands-on, solutions driven mindset.
Able to adapt quickly and work independently in fast changing environments.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
Ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
Comfortable traveling for project work when required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with WMS and ERP systems, including RF scanners (preferred).
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience including project coordination or supervisory responsibilities.
Experience supporting warehouse startups, relocations, or operational projects is beneficial.
Continuous improvement certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt) a plus.
Work Environment
Fast paced warehouse environment with exposure to forklifts, equipment, varying temperatures, and occasional outdoor conditions.
Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs regularly, and occasionally over 100 lbs with assistance.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 per year
