Technical Support Specialist - Fire Alarm and Security Systems
Academy Fire Life Safety is currently seeking a quality, career-minded Technical Support Specialist who will be responsible for equipment bench testing, programming, and providing telephone technical support. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities include (but not limited too):
Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
Analytical Skills
Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in the fire and life safety industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Requirements:
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Experience in customer service.
Technical background in security or networking fields.
Experience with IP video and programming security panels.
Career-minded with a commitment to quality and excellence.
Strong communication skills.
Hardworking, goal-oriented, and able to lead by example.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in PC skills and related software.
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
