Job description

Job Summary

The position is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of the company's aftermarket support programs and services. This role oversees financial and technical performance for SEDA aftermarket programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal objectives. The position leverages expert-level Power BI skills to create, analyze data, generate insights, and support decision-making across programs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage cross-functional activities with multiple departments.

• Analyze root causes of program performance issues and recommend solutions.

• Assist in preparing proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.

• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Prepare program management reviews, progress reports, and presentations.

• Develop and implement initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Risk mitigation plans implemented within agreed timelines

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and occasionally move about the office and laboratory. Constantly operates and use a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier/printer and laboratory machinery. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. The ability to observe, identify and assess details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds across office for various needs.

Work Environment:

The work environment is split between office & laboratory work, with most work being performed in the office. Noise level in the office is typically quiet while the noise level in the lab can occasionally require hearing protection.

Candidate skills & requirements

Required Competencies:

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of experience in program or operations management.

• Proven experience in program management principles and tools.

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex datasets

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of avionics and avionic components, including repair schemes and capabilities.

• Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals and technical documentation.

• Working knowledge of SAP.

• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Dynamic and organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

Power BI Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards for program performance, financial metrics, and operational KPIs. Aide other departments with approval of the manager.

• Automate data extraction and reporting processes to improve efficiency.

• Perform advanced data modeling and visualization to support strategic decisions.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms

• Dashboard refresh accuracy and timeliness (100% compliance).

• Reduction in manual reporting time by 30% through automation.

• Data quality score- Greater than 98% across all reports.

• Number of actionable insights delivered per quarter.

• Stakeholder adoption rate of dashboards- Greater than 90%

• Experience working in a cross-functional setting, preferable in a support role.

• Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Dynamic personality, able to oversee multiple tasks, prioritizing as required.
