Position Title:

Summer School Special Education Elementary Teachers

(1) 8:1:1, (2) 6:1:1, (1) SEIT

Anticipated Employment Date:

July 6 - August 14, 2026

Anticipated Work Location/Hours:

Middle/High School Complex, Mon - Friday 8:30 AM- 3:15 PM

Salary:

$37.00/hour

Duties:

1. Manage summer school students' IEP/504 plans

2. Work closely with content area teachers

3. Plan for necessary accommodations during summer

   program

   Minimum Qualifications:

4. NYS Special Education SwD B-6

5. Experience in teaching secondary level

6. Preference will be given to Grand Island staff members, all other things being equal

7. Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff and administrators

8. Strong work ethic and ability to effectively communicate with staff and students

9. CPI or Safety Cares training is preferred
