Minimum Qualifications:
We are currently looking to expand our list of dedicated substitute teachers, NYS teaching certification not required!
Certified Teacher - NYS Certified in respective subject areas preferred. Appropriate teaching experience, specialized training/coursework, demonstrated ability to work with peers and administrators, demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in order to better meet the needs of students, and the demonstrated ability to motivate and instruct students. Positive class management skills; use of current technology in the classroom.
Uncertified Teacher -All substitutes must be fingerprinted through NYSED TEACH system prior to Board of Education approval.
