Catholic Health Initiatives Retail Pharmacist in Grand Island, Nebraska
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Join our St. Francis retail pharmacy team and practice in a setting where patient care and service excellence come first. In partnership with the Pharmacy Manager, you’ll deliver safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical care while helping drive operational and financial performance.
What You’ll Do
Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications in compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations
Provide patient counseling and drug education to patients and healthcare providers
Perform thorough drug utilization reviews to ensure safety and optimal therapy outcomes
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff workflow
Collaborate with providers and insurance companies to resolve prescription and coverage issues
Support inventory management, quality initiatives, and operational efficiency
Administer immunizations and participate in MTM, collaborative practice agreements, and bedside delivery programs
What You Bring
Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety
Retail pharmacy experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
Preferred Education and Experience
One year of work experience in a retail pharmacy setting
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Required Licensure and Certifications
Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of Nebraska

Pay Range
$49.54 - $73.70 /hour
