Grand Haven Custom Molding - HR Dept. Shipping and Receiving Associate in Grand Haven, Michigan
Position Summary:
Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and efficiency. Prepare product for shipment, prepare shipping documents and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect and record all incoming deliveries using a scanner
- Prepare accurate shipping documents
- Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Process orders based on the customer's preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Contact carrier and schedule shipping when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
- Cross-check shipments to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Load and unload trucks with outgoing and incoming products

Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development
- Grand Haven Custom Molding issued forklift certification
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Good communication skills
- Available for overtime based on customer demands
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude
- Position reports to Warehouse Coordinator
