Position Overview

As a Hospice Medical Social Worker (MSW), you will be responsible for the provision of consultation and service to homebound individuals in need of assistance with the solution of complex social and emotional problems, which impede management of medical regimen.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

  • State of Michigan Full Masters Social Work License Required

  • Two (2) years of social work experience in health care setting.

  • Ability to provide service to acutely and chronically ill patients

  • Ability to complete written, verbal, and observational tasks indigenous to the position.
