Actalent Electrical Project Manager in Grand Haven, Michigan

Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerJob Description

Lead electrical construction projects up to $10M from kickoff to closeout. Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and field crews. Own the schedule, budget, and quality, ensuring projects finish safely, on time, and within budget. Preplan every project and maintain continuous planning to achieve success. Utilize top tools like Accubid, Procore, and Bluebeam to streamline project delivery. Mentor and guide electricians and subcontractors, fostering a high-performance team culture. Be the go-to communicator, keeping everyone aligned with real-time updates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and field crews.

  • Manage the schedule, budget, and quality to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.

  • Continuously plan and adjust project strategies to ensure success.

  • Utilize project management tools such as Accubid, Procore, and Bluebeam effectively.

  • Mentor and guide electricians and subcontractors to foster a high-performance team culture.

  • Communicate effectively to keep all stakeholders aligned with real-time updates.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of project management experience in electrical construction.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering commercial and industrial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and construction practices.

  • Ability to lead teams and communicate directly with clients.

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Accubid, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (experience may substitute).

  • PMP or PE certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $67.31/hr.
