Trinity Health CT Technologist in Grand Haven, Michigan

Description:

Performs professional duties related to a variety of radiographic technical procedures and CT Scan procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.

Hours/ Schedule:

  • Per Diem

What you will need:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology

  • Minimum of one (1) year progressive work experience in modality.

  • Current ARRT, RT (R) without restriction and CR registered within 1 year.

  • Current BLS certification.

What you will do:

  • Perform CT Scans of all types including head, body and extremity scans.

  • Perform interventional CT scans for biopsies or various drainage procedures.

  • Positions patient carefully and accurately to obtain requested examination.

  • Select correct x-ray technical factor combinations or CT Scan factors to procedure high quality images.

  • Provides appropriate radiation shielding and collimation to adhere to ALARA principles.

  • Places orders and charges in the hospital information computer as needed.
