Cirrus Aircraft Facilities Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift in Grand Forks, North Dakota

Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the facility and its systems. This role involves performing basic maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and supporting the overall maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Schedule:
Weekend Shift: Friday -Sunday; 5am - 5:30pm (12% differential), OT as required
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Assist in the maintenance and repair of building and mechanical systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.
Respond to maintenance requests from staff and complete general repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain the company's facilities and equipment to include general building care, recycling, snow removal, yard care, etc.
General carpentry, painting, sheetrock, staining, repairing doors, and setup/remodel of work areas etc..
Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the facilities.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular hours as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants and property.
Assist in setup and teardown for events and facility-related activities.
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor/Facility Manager.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
Participate in training programs to enhance maintenance skills and knowledge.
Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance practices and systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
Strong desire to learn and develop skills in facility maintenance.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to effectively manage time, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
Attention to detail required
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments.
Valid driver’s license.
