Job Title: PM Production SupervisorJob Description

Oversee production activities to maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, health, and environmental requirements. Serve as the designated safety lead during emergencies and ensure site safety protocols are followed. Assign tasks, train, and mentor team members to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment or process issues promptly. Drive troubleshooting efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance. Monitor production schedules, analyze performance metrics, and address variances effectively. Support investigations and documentation for deviations, change control, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Manage shift planning, including scheduling, overtime coordination, and coverage. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated safety lead during emergencies and enforce site safety protocols.

  • Assign tasks and provide training and mentorship to team members to meet production targets.

  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment or process issues.

  • Drive troubleshooting efforts and continuous improvement initiatives for operational optimization.

  • Monitor and analyze production schedules and performance metrics, addressing any variances.

  • Support investigations and documentation for deviations, change control, and CAPA.

  • Manage shift planning, scheduling, overtime coordination, and coverage.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of production supervision experience, preferably in a regulated environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, food, etc.).

  • Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.

  • Experience in team leadership, task assignment, and training.

  • Strong analytical skills for monitoring production schedules and performance metrics.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Sciences or related field.

  • Knowledge in Chemistry, Batching, GC, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Operating.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a clean laboratory and production environment. The shift follows a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., requiring work every other weekend.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
