Are you highly skilled C / C++Software Developer with an electromagnetic wave propagation and radio network planning background who wants to contribute to the development of innovative, high‑performance software solutions used by engineering teams across the world? If you enjoy programming and solving physical and mathematical problems, and like to design and build high‑performance software modules then we'd love for you to help us with our software tool, Simcenter Feko. The WRAP module of Feko includes features for radio and radar coverage planning, interference analysis as well as spectrum management.
You'll make a difference by:
Designing wave propagation modeling and radio network planning algorithms and implementing them in C/C++ software code to create new features and to maintain and extend the WRAP software.
Working closely with Product Management and Quality Assurance to bring next‑generation wave propagation & radio network planning tools to market on schedule.
Your success is grounded in:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Expertise in C/C++ software development
Proven track record of delivering high‑quality software projects on time
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and software development for Windows and Linux
Good knowledge in RF engineering, wireless networks, and radar systems
Fundamental knowledge in computational electromagnetics and wave propagation
Team‑oriented with an open forward‑thinking mindset
Happy to work independently without a lot of guidance
Nice if you have experience in:
Radio planning software tools
Radar systems and technologies
Spectrum management & monitoring
Broadcasting & satellite communication
Collocation interference
Wireless air interfaces like 5G, LTE, …
