Associate Director, Medical Solutions Lead, Medical Affairs
We believe that good business growth in Medical Affairs comes from good consultation and thought partnership with clients. You will use your background and expertise to help our Medical Communications and Medical Education as well as other Medical Affairs teams to engage potential new customers, as well as exceed expectations for existing customers, in particular, by helping them navigate to the broader medical affairs and IQVIA enterprise solutions that can solve their challenges.
We are a diverse and fast-growing portfolio of Global businesses and we would like this role to help us grow individual businesses within Medical Affairs as well as provide connections across the portfolio that generate added value for customers.
Responsibilities
Being present and engaged with existing and potential new customers: you’ll act as a thought partner and enabler, able to bring customer voice and customer challenges back to the business and navigate, along with other IQVIA experts, to appropriate solutions.
Create awareness and advocacy amongst IQVIAs various go-to-market communities. As an enterprise, we are extraordinarily well connected and represented with our 10,000+ customers, you will help educate and engage our internal customer relationship holders so that they can open doors for Medical Affairs to represent itself.
Work closely with our Go-to-Market Enablement and Marketing teams to provide the voice of the customer and shape our enablement and marketing output.
Help create continuity of effort and awareness, on behalf of customers, across our sales, sales enablement, and marketing teams.
Contribute expertise and voice of the customer to IQVIA thought leadership and, where appropriate, represent IQVIA at external events, webinars, showcases, etc.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in customer facing roles, account management, or medical affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare technology sectors
Deep understanding of medical affairs functions, including MSL deployment, scientific exchange, and evidence generation
Ability to define and drive a long-term strategy for successful customer engagement in medical affairs, aligning with business growth and industry shifts.
Experience working with global clients and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, HCPs, pharma clients)
Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and ability to translate insights into action.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale customer success programs tailored to medical affairs clients.
