About the Role
LEGOLAND® New York Resort is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Houseperson to support our Housekeeping team. This role plays a key part in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming public and guest areas throughout the resort. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a team environment, and is committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
What You’ll be Doing
Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
Assist housekeeping staff with guest room preparation, including delivering linens, amenities, and supplies.
Clean guest rooms and bathrooms when assigned, including vacuuming floors and making beds.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and service calls.
Receive, store, and organize housekeeping deliveries and supplies.
Monitor, restock, and report inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Keep linen rooms and linen/terry closets clean, stocked, and orderly.
Properly handle, label, and maintain all assigned chemicals and equipment in safe working conditions.
Follow all LEGOLAND® New York Resort policies, OSHA standards, safety and sanitation guidelines, and service standards.
Maintain proper uniform appearance, hygiene, and professional conduct.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Sign in and out radios for interdepartmental communication and master keys for guest room access.
Who You Are
Previous housekeeping or facilities experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
Ability to lift, push, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Physically able to perform repetitive and active tasks throughout the shift.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Schedule Details
Houseperson schedules vary based on business needs. Operations run 7 days a week, 24 hours a day , with shifts including:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Benefits
Pay Range
USD $21.69/Hr.
