Goodwill Northern New England Financial Data & Reporting Analyst in Gorham, Maine

This position is based in Gorham, Maine. Only applicants residing in ME or NH will be considered.

Location: Gorham, ME

Salary: 85k D.O.E

Job Summary: As our Financial Data & Reporting Analyst, you’ll be the strategic bridge between Finance, IT, and Operations, playing a central role in advancing financial insight, technology enablement, and process excellence. You will: Analyze & Inform

  • Collect, interpret, and translate financial data into meaningful trends, insights, and recommendations.

  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and visualizations that empower leadership with actionable information.

  • Support monthly and year‑end close cycles by validating data accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

    Design & Optimize

  • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.

  • Document, evaluate, and improve finance processes with a strong focus on compliance and internal controls.

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend streamlined workflows across financial and operational activities.

    Implement & Innovate

  • Enhance and support financial systems, reporting tools, and new AI‑driven technologies.

  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.

  • Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for new initiatives and shape data‑driven decision making.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or similar role

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP principles, and budgeting processes

  • Proven ability to communicate high level financial information.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and data visualizations

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools

  • Express confidential, ethical and professional behaviors.
