Job Summary:
The Ecommerce Operations Supervisor, reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, works to maintain the efficient operation of the Ecommerce department and further the organizational commitment to achieving triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic and environmental goals into thinking, planning and action. Responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment. The Ecommerce Operations Supervisor creates a positive employee and customer experience by modeling Goodwill’s mission and citizenship behaviors at all times.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
· Ensure best-in-class customer and employee experience
· Perform supervisory functions that pertain to the daily activities of the department
· Oversee the training and safety of teammates
· Other duties as assigned
Detailed essential duties include:
· Provides excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner to both internal & external customers in an effort to foster appropriate customer relations.
· Maintains a clean & safe work environment with focus on safety & loss prevention.
· Assists in the establishment of daily production goals for respective department and performs functions that include, but are not limited to: sorting, researching & pricing items for sale on marketplaces; photographing items & uploading pictures to computer; listing items for sale on on-line marketplaces; answering customer questions; packing & shipping items to customers; ordering office & shipping supplies; cleaning respective office as needed.
· Assist E-Commerce Manager with general management including, but not limited to, supervision of personnel in absence of E-Commerce Manager.
· Participates in performance management up to & including input on coaching/warnings, input on interviewing/hiring, input on year-end reviews and other staff related documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
· Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude in order to be a great teammate and role model
· Online selling experience
· 6 months of Goodwill retail store experience or 1+ year of prior supervisory experience
· Mathematical and literacy skills to support job duties
· Knowledge of any of the following: antiques, collectibles, musical instruments, electronics and jewelry
· Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Computer literacy to support job duties
· High school diploma, GED, HiSET or equivalent
· Criminal background check that meets agency standards
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associates Degree
· Experience using various gem and metal testing devices
· Gemology certificate
· CPR and First Aid Certification
· Experience using/understanding excel
