Company Overview
Under minimum supervision, investigates, negotiates and settles general liability, product liability, landlord, and other claims.
Job Details
Conducts interviews with injured customers, store personnel, and witnesses within twenty-four hours of receiving a reported incident.
Maintains ongoing telephone contact with appropriate parties throughout the life of the file.
Evaluates the monetary exposure of claims using professional experience and investigative skills.
Controls the activities of service providers, including defense attorneys, medical case managers, and private investigators, to minimize claim expense and maximize results.
Develops and maintains a proactive strategic action plan for the duration of the file.
Maintains a working knowledge of general liability laws and statutes across multiple states.
Qualifications
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments
Handles confrontational or sensitive situations with maturity, professionalism, and sound judgment
Possesses a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Thrives in a team‑oriented environment, contributing positively to group objectives while supporting collective success
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years experience required. Extensive insurance claims background with emphasis on premises liability or general liability.
*This is a full-time remote position.
*Compensation: $78,925 base.
