Company Overview

Under minimum supervision, investigates, negotiates and settles general liability, product liability, landlord, and other claims.

Job Details

  • Conducts interviews with injured customers, store personnel, and witnesses within twenty-four hours of receiving a reported incident.

  • Maintains ongoing telephone contact with appropriate parties throughout the life of the file.

  • Evaluates the monetary exposure of claims using professional experience and investigative skills.

  • Controls the activities of service providers, including defense attorneys, medical case managers, and private investigators, to minimize claim expense and maximize results.

  • Develops and maintains a proactive strategic action plan for the duration of the file.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of general liability laws and statutes across multiple states.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

  • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments

  • Handles confrontational or sensitive situations with maturity, professionalism, and sound judgment

  • Possesses a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Thrives in a team‑oriented environment, contributing positively to group objectives while supporting collective success

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years experience required. Extensive insurance claims background with emphasis on premises liability or general liability.

*This is a full-time remote position.

*Compensation: $78,925 base.
