CAE USA INC ATC SUPERVISOR in Gondia, India
Scope of work and responsibilities:
To supervise and monitor the air traffic controllers coordinating air traffic at Birsi Airport or other uncontrolled airports as designated by NFTI
Actively control and coordinates the movement of NFTI and other air traffic ensuring safe and efficient operation
Conducts initial training for new NFTI designated air traffic controllers, perform assessments, on-going refreshers and on-the-job training for NFTI’s air traffic controllers ensuring that they are properly equipped to carry out their duties.
Coordinates the operation of air traffic control with NFTI operations and related flight training activities.
Monitor serviceability of various equipment required for air traffic control
Collaborate and coordinate with other adjacent ATC units to ensure smooth and safe training operations.
Ensures that periodic runway inspections are completed
Report incidents and accidents to ARFF and other respective departments.
Lead and take control of air traffic management during emergencies in accordance to NFTI Emergency Response Plan.
Represent and participates in internal meetings and airport operation meetings as snd when required
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations or General Manager
Desired Qualification & Skills:
Certification as Air Traffic Controller by AAI or ATCO from military / IAF / Indian Navy
Minimum 8 years if experience as Air Traffic Controller
Graduate / Post-graduate in relevant discipline
Must have Good Communication & Interpersonal skills in English
Ability to multi-task
Experience in training Air Traffic Controllers
Experience in supervising Air Traffic Controller
