Description
We are looking for a part-time detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Goleta, California. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely entry into the accounts payable system.
• Handle payment transactions, including ACH transfers, check runs, and travel reimbursements.
• Review and reconcile expense reports using tools such as Concur, adhering to company guidelines.
• Manage international accounting processes and address any discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure smooth workflows.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations during financial processes.
• Support month-end closing activities by providing accurate accounts payable data.
• Track and monitor outstanding invoices to avoid delays in payment processing.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding and processing.
• Familiarity with ACH transactions, check runs, and travel reimbursement processes.
• Hands-on experience with Concur or similar expense reporting tools.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Proficiency in handling expense reports and ensuring compliance with policies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
