Job Purpose:
The role of the team lead is to help team members be successful at meeting safety requirements, quality levels, take time requirements and performance goals
This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Starting pay for this role is $22.45 / hour + $1.00 shift premium.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support production team members
Assist in training new team members
Possesses ability to recommend line staffing to meet flow requirements
Fills in for other team leads or team members (trained and capable of running all operations in the assigned area at minimum)
Identifies quality, staffing, safety and production issues
Owns metrics for the given area and accountable for each operations metric accuracy and timeliness of the reporting
Partners with the facilitator in implementation of changes needed to achieve future state value stream map
Responsible for generating and working continuous improvement ideas for everything related to their assigned area
Participates in RIWs for their assigned area of responsibility
Monitors and audits PQVC metrics for the cell level in their area
Assists with creating, training and implementing standardized work processes and documentation
Collects data and updates metric boards as needed
Participates in process improvement dialogues at the cell level
Provide technical assistance and/or coverage for breaks or attendance exceptions
Required Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills working with Microsoft excel, word, power point and access
Strong attendance record
Ability to maintain accurate and complete records
Desired Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or logistics operation
Demonstrated lean manufacturing experience

Summary Pay Range:
$22.90 - $28.60
