Job description
• Manage all Import and Export operations including documentation, compliance, and coordination with customs authorities.
• Ensure adherence to DTA (Domestic Tariff Area) and SEZ (Special Economic Zone) regulations for all shipments.
• Coordinate shipping activities including carrier selection, booking, and tracking to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.
• Maintain accurate records for all SEZ and DTA transactions and support audits as required.
• Develop strategic transportation plans by analyzing schedules, routings, and consolidation opportunities.
• Maintain and analyze freight spend data; identify areas of opportunity and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate risk and mitigation plans around external logistics.
• Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, macros).
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Lead digitalization and automation projects for reporting and process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including training and administration.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field (CSCP/CLTD preferred).
• Work Experience – Technical Knowledge: 5–8 years' experience in logistics, with strong exposure to import/export, DTA/SEZ operations, and shipping.
• Professional Skills: Fluent in English; Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel; Significant knowledge and past experience in Supply Chain processes and relevant tools; Good communication behavior.
• Behavioral Skills: Able to work independently; Show pro-active thinking; Able to communicate clearly.
• Desirable Aspects: SAP WM; French language.
