City Of Glenwood Spr Full Time Custodian in Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Position Summary:
The custodian is responsible for cleaning and other janitorial duties at the City of Glenwood Springs Facilities.
Essential Functions:
· Cleans, buffs, and waxes hard surfaced floors.
· Operates chariot floor cleaner where needed.
· Vacuums and cleans carpets.
· Collects trash from rooms and disposes it safely and securely.
· Dusts furniture and rooms.
· Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and locker rooms.
· Cleans glass and windows thoroughly.
· Checks work email at least once a week.
· Puts away equipment in the proper place after usage.

Education, Training & Certifications:
Necessary:
· 18 years of age or older.
· High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience.
· Possess a strong working knowledge of cleaning procedures.
· Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification within six (6) months of hire.
Desired:
· Bilingual in English and Spanish.
