Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
The CNC Mill Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating both horizontal and vertical milling machines. The position requires a coachable and motivated individual with a proven record of tenure. You will initially be trained on a specific machine and will receive cross-training throughout your employment. This role is essential to ensuring precision in machining operations.
Pay: can go up as high as needed for the right skill
Responsibilities
Set up and operate horizontal and vertical milling machines.
Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Machine various metals, primarily stainless steel.
Cross-train on multiple machines within the facility.
Maintain accuracy and precision in all machining operations.
Essential Skills
4-5 years of experience setting up and operating horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines.
Proficiency in using 4-axis CNC mills.
Ability to perform quality checks with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Experience in machining stainless steel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience programming with Fanuc Controls.
Experience with 5-axis and 7-axis machines.
Machining experience with materials other than steel, aluminum, and titanium.

Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop setting without climate control. You will work standard 1st shift hours from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Glenview, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
