Reynolds Market - Glendive Service Deli Clerk in Glendive, Montana
*Position Summary: *This position is responsible for many important duties including: Serving our guests in a cheerful and helpful manner, displaying and restocking product and assisting with preparation of deli items. A great personality, good organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently are requirements for this position. This position can also be Full time or Part time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests and preparing orders accurately
- Operate deli equipment (slicer, fryer, register, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Stock, rotate, and display products to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain proper pricing, labeling, and merchandising standards
- Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized
- Follow all company policies, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment
- Help control inventory, reduce waste, and support department profitability
Safety & Sanitation
- Follow all safety and food handling procedures
- Properly use equipment and report hazards or incidents immediately
- Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including sales floor and prep areas
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and computer skills required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous deli or food service experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequent use of hands for food prep, stocking, and equipment operation
- Ability to use ladders and deli equipment as needed
