Reynolds Market - Glendive Produce Clerk in Glendive, Montana
*Position Summary: *This position is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the department to ensure our guests are afforded fresh products in a clean and friendly atmosphere. You are a key factor of ensuring quality and freshness, which are prime ingredients to a successful Produce Department. This is a full time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist guests with product questions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department, including sales floor and backroom
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Receive, stock, rotate, and display merchandise efficiently
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and inventory levels
- Prevent waste and maintain proper inventory control
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Participate in training and meetings as required
Safety & Sanitation
- Follow all safety and accident prevention procedures
- Properly use equipment and report hazards, spills, or incidents immediately
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and computer skills preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
Previous produce or retail experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
- Frequent use of hands for stocking, lifting, and handling products
- Ability to use ladders and equipment such as pallet jacks and balers
