Job Description

The HR Specialist supports digital learning and talent development initiatives by administering learning content within the organization’s systems, with a strong focus on Workday and LinkedIn Learning. This role centers on loading, updating, and launching digital learning projects and campaigns, while partnering with HR and talent teams to roll out trainings across the organization. The position offers a mix of independent work and collaboration, with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Load and maintain various types of digital learning projects and courses within the learning systems, primarily in Workday.

  • Launch and manage learning campaigns that automate digital learning delivery to employees.

  • Update existing courses and learning content in the system to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Leverage LinkedIn Learning as a digital learning library, ensuring appropriate courses are available and properly configured.

  • Work from checklists and established processes to prioritize and complete learning administration tasks efficiently.

  • Support other areas of the talent team by assisting with learning and development initiatives as needed.

  • Collaborate with other groups across the organization to roll out and launch trainings effectively.

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding training schedules, course availability, and campaign status.

  • Maintain organized records of learning activities, campaigns, and updates within the systems.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of learning administration processes and tools.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • 2+ years of HR or HR support experience.

  • Experience or exposure working with a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Workday.

  • Completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a strong preference for self-directed work.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively using checklists and timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to support talent development and learning initiatives.

Work Environment

The role follows a hybrid work model, with approximately two to three days per week in the Glendale office and the remaining days worked remotely. Typically, Monday and Friday are work-from-home days, offering some flexibility in schedule. The position is primarily focused on learning administration, with about 75% of the time dedicated to working within learning systems such as Workday and LinkedIn Learning. The work involves a mix of independent tasks and collaborative efforts with the talent team and other groups to coordinate and launch trainings. The environment supports professional growth, with the potential for the role to transition into a full-time position based on organizational needs and performance.

This is a Contract position based out of Glendale, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
