Job Description:
Designs and implements solutions to achieve high-quality patient care. Collaborates effectively with physicians, peers, staff, and administration to promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation. Monitors, collects, analyzes, secures, and reports pertinent data findings related to clinical performance. Maintains Center of Excellence Standards for the Heart and Vascular service line. Ensures effectiveness in day-to-day operations of the departments to achieve budget, quality, people, and growth goals. Works collaboratively with service line directors, physician dyad partners, and key physicians to drive growth. Creates and executes the Heart and Vascular strategy. Expands the service line in coordination with other facilities. Applies the rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies to the peer review process. Maintains respectful relationships and participates in outstanding customer service. Performs other duties as assigned. Identifies potential opportunities to improve patient outcomes, safety, and quality.
The Director of Cardiovascular Services provides mission-driven leadership for the GROWING Cardiovascular Service line at Bolingbrook, with additional oversight of operations at GlenOaks. In alignment with AdventHealth’s commitment to extending the healing ministry of Christ, this leader ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care across both locations. The Director fosters a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement while advancing strategic growth and operational performance.

Education:
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant-Certified
• in Business Administration (MBA), Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA)
Work Experience:
• 3+ in a procedural or clinical setting [Required]
• 5+ clinical experience within cardiology or cardiovascular services [Required]

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
• Nurse Executive Certification (ANCC-NE-BC ) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$119,766.52 - $222,771.45
