Experienced Behavior Technician – School-Based Role in Los Angeles County
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is excited to welcome caring, experienced Behavior Technicians to our school-based teams across Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and the greater Los Angeles County area. Position Highlights Pay: $24–$27/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM Location: School sites throughout Los Angeles County
What You’ll Do You’ll play an important role in helping students grow, learn, and thrive. In this position, you will:
Support students with behavioral and developmental needs in the classroom
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with care and consistency
Work closely with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists
Help create structured, inclusive environments that promote independence
Encourage positive behaviors and social-emotional development
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in ABA, behavior therapy, or related roles
RBT certification is a plus, but not required
Must be 18+ and meet all employment requirements
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
