Temporary Veterinary Receptionist – Overnight
Glendale, AZ
We are seeking an experienced Client Service Coordinator (CSC) to join our team in a temporary role covering a maternity leave. This position is expected to last approximately 2–3 months, with the opportunity to remain on as a relief/locum associate afterward.
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned veterinary CSR who enjoys a fast-paced hospital environment and is looking for short-term, meaningful work with flexibility.
Schedule
Thursday–Saturday
5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Overnight Shifts)
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as available
Includes weekends and holidays
What You’ll Do
Provide high-level reception support in a busy emergency and specialty hospital
Greet clients, check in patients, and manage front desk flow during overnight hours
Answer phones and support client communication with professionalism and empathy
Assist with estimates, invoices, and financial discussions
Communicate clearly with medical teams to support patient care and workflow
Maintain accurate documentation and front desk processes during high-stress periods
Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for clients during urgent situations
What We’re Looking For
Previous/current veterinary receptionist experience required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-emotion emergency environment
Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate presence
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently overnight
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and computer skills
Positive, energetic, and willing to jump in where needed
Interested in the possibility of ongoing relief/locum work after the temporary role
