Six Flags 2026 Shallow Water Attraction Lifeguard in GLENDALE, Arizona
Overview:
As a Shallow Water Attraction Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in shallow water attractions, such as slide dispatch, slide run-outs, kiddie pools, and splash zones. You will provide vigilant supervision, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies. Your role is critical in maintaining a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
This is a seasonal position at Hurricane Harbor Phoenix in Phoenix AZ. It features a competitive hourly rate of $15.50, along with perks such as:

Responsibilities:
Monitor guests in shallow water attractions to ensure compliance with safety rules and prevent accidents
Remain alert and focused whileobservingwater activities toidentifyany potential risks or emergencies
Respond promptly and effectively to water rescues,providing assistanceand first aid as necessary
Ensure safety equipment (such as life jackets and flotation devices) is in good condition and easily accessible to guests
Assistinmaintaininga clean and safe pool area, including removing debris and checking water quality
Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure everyone’s safety
Educate guests on pool safety rules and proper behavior in the water
Complete incident reports and other required documentation
Perform regular safety checks on the pool area to ensure all safety protocols are being followed
Work with fellow lifeguards and management to ensure the attraction is running smoothly and safely
Qualifications:
Must be at least 15 years of age or older
Must be reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
Strong communicationskills and the ability to interact positively with guests
Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Previouslifeguard or pool experience is a plus but notrequired
Certification in CPR, First Aid, andlifeguarding ( Paid Training!! )
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
