Penta Restoration Corp. Construction Project Manager in GLEN HEAD, New York
Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports. Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building, safety codes, and environmental regulations. Examine job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. Investigate damage, accidents, and delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Develop and implement quality control programs and environmental protection programs. Implement new and modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, and construction site emergencies. Perform pre-building assessments, including conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments. Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using computer models. Job Requirements: Masters degree in Construction Management and Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field of study. No experience required.
