Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic & Junior Mechanic to join our team in installing duct work, including square and spiral duct work, and HVAC systems. The role involves working with roof top fans, duct work, and sheet metal, ensuring high-quality installation and fabrication.
Responsibilities
Install square and spiral duct work for HVAC systems.
Perform sheet metal installation and fabrication tasks.
Install and configure roof top fans and exhaust systems.
Read and interpret blueprints for installation projects.
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in duct installation and sheet metal work.
Experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of construction practices related to sheet metal installation.
Strong skills in fabrication and installation techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification.
SST 10 certification.
4-10 years of experience in a related field.

Work Environment
The work is based in NYC and Nassau County with a start time of 6:00 and 7:00am. The role requires full PPE and all necessary certifications. The work environment involves a large construction site, specifically the south tower which is still under construction.

This is a Contract position based out of Glen Cove, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
