About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableAccounts Payable Clerkto join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys working with numbers, and has strong organizational skills. You will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment requests
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
- Verify accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs or electronic payments
- Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions or payment status
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation
- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
