We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with 4-7 years of experience to coordinate all aspects of assigned projects. This role involves collaboration with architects, engineering consultants, building code officials, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, developers, and clients. The candidate should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and must possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of assigned projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineering consultants, building code officials, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, developers, and clients.
Work under the guidance of senior engineers who will manage and assign tasks and perform quality assurance/quality control on project documents.
Design power distribution, receptacle and lighting layout, and circuiting.
Develop one-line diagrams.
Complete panelboard schedules.
Layout fire alarm devices.
Prepare construction documents.
Essential Skills
4-7 years of experience in electrical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong background in electrical, electrical engineering, and electrical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD electrical is a plus.
Work Environment
The position is based in a newly renovated office in Glen Burnie. The work schedule is flexible, with an average of 80 hours every two weeks, though some weeks may be longer. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $38.46/hr.
