Aerotek's client is looking for a Construction Materials Technician to join their team in the Glen Burnie area
Job Description
- Join our team as a Construction Material Technician where you will leverage your expertise in soil compaction, foundation inspection, concrete testing, and reinforcement inspection. Your role will involve traveling to various work sites within the Baltimore/Washington area, and you must have reliable transportation, preferably a light truck, to access these locations.
Responsibilities
Conduct soil compaction and foundation inspections.
Perform concrete testing and reinforcement inspections.
Test and classify soils using nuclear gauge, sand cone, and other methods.
Conduct asphalt and concrete testing at different sites.
Essential Skills
Experience with soil, asphalt, and concrete testing.
Familiarity with soil sample testing and asphalt sample testing.
Proficient in using nuclear gauge, sand cone, and soil classification methods.
Certification in WACEL and ACI.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MARTCP certification is a plus.
Experience in transportation logistics to access various work sites.
