Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this role, you will focus on maintaining accurate records and converting physical documents into digital formats to ensure seamless accessibility. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and comfortable managing large volumes of paperwork.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and sort paper files to ensure proper categorization and accessibility.
• Scan physical documents and convert them into digital formats for electronic filing.
• Maintain a systematic filing process for both paper and electronic records.
• Handle and organize file boxes to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
• Perform quality checks on scanned documents to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly file storage environment.
• Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in file management.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies regarding document handling and confidentiality. Requirements • Proven experience in paper filing and document organization.
• Proficiency in scanning documents and working with e-filing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing records.
• Physical ability to handle and organize file boxes.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment, such as scanners and computers.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
