Part-time Clinical Contracts Coordinator: Department of Nursing
The Department of Nursing at Rowan University invites applications for a part-time position (20-25 hours per week) to begin as soon as possible. The Department of Nursing is one of three departments in the Salva School of Nursing & Health Professions. Its undergraduate RN to BSN program and MSN programs is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). We are seeking candidates who have the passion and drive to help strengthen and enhance these programs and pursue opportunities to collaborate with both the allopathic and osteopathic medical schools at Rowan University.
We seek to hire an individual responsible for growing and maintaining partnerships and managing the logistics of student placements. The Clinical Coordinator will plan, schedule, and coordinate clinical site placement with the faculty, student readiness for placement and activities in alignment with accreditation and state regulatory standards. Other responsibilities include advancing the mission of the department by contributing to the development of new and innovative programs in nursing, as well as service to the department, college, university, and communities.

Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google G suite, Learning Management Systems).
Experience in healthcare preferred.

Ability to perform other appropriate and reasonably required duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
Physical Requirements
Standing, sitting, stooping, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, keyboarding, filing, and other similar physical motions and activates are a usual part of the job
Work Environment:
This position is based in an office environment with exposure to standard skills, but mobility for travel to different clinical sites is expected.
Rate: $27 per hour
Hours:
This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year. Work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriations.
