About the Role
You’ll take a leading role in delivering complex marine works design and build packages, operating under the NEC4 form of contract. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing large‑scale, high‑value programmes (typically £500m+) covering piling, civil works, structural elements and M&E within a highly regulated environment.
You’ll be supported by established project management, engineering and project controls teams, all aligned on the safe, efficient and successful delivery of work

You’re a confident and capable leader who provides clear safety, project and commercial leadership to Project Managers and delivery teams. You’re able to motivate diverse teams, maintain momentum across complex programmes, and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. You’re also comfortable navigating challenges and resolving conflict in a constructive and professional way.
Your key responsibilities
You’ll be accountable for the overall performance of your assigned work packages, including:
Procuring packages of work through approved delivery partners.
Delivering against NEC4 contract conditions.
Managing cost, schedule and performance.
Owning and driving effective risk management and change control.
Providing line management, coaching and direction to assigned Project Managers.
What you’ll need
You bring strong leadership and technical experience from major infrastructure or marine environments, along with the flexibility to work across sites as required.
Essential skills and experience
Engineering design and construction experience in a marine environment.
Strong NEC4 experience, including NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.
Demonstrable experience leading complex projects as a Senior Project Manager in a regulated industry (nuclear experience preferred).
Full project lifecycle experience, from design through to commissioning and handover.
Proven experience in risk management and change control.
Location
The role is Hybrid where your working week will be split over home, client site in Helensburgh and the office in Glasgow City Centre.
