What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll mobilise technology‑led change by translating business needs into clear, well‑defined requirements and solution designs. Operating at the intersection of business, data, and IT delivery, you’ll ensure initiatives are properly shaped, de‑risked, and ready for delivery, providing high‑quality analysis, documentation, and handover into delivery teams.
Lead early‑stage analysis to shape technology initiatives from concept to delivery‑ready definition
Work with stakeholders to define problems, opportunities, scope, assumptions, and success measures
Translate business needs into clear functional, non‑functional, data, and integration requirements
Analyse current processes and define future‑state processes using standard BA methodologies
Produce clear mobilisation artefacts including initiation documents, plans, risks, and dependencies
Assess technical, data, and integration impacts and coordinate with data and architecture teams
Provide structured handovers to delivery teams, maintaining traceability from requirements to outcomes
Support delivery, UAT, business readiness, and transition to business‑as‑usual
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
What you’ll bring
Degree level qualification in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience
Recognised Business Analysis certification (BCS or IIBA preferred)
Proven experience delivering data‑led or technology‑led change
Strong technical and data awareness, with experience working alongside data modelling teams
Proven ability to produce high‑quality requirements and solution artefacts
Solid project mobilisation and governance experience
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
Experience in complex, regulated, or asset‑intensive environments
Experience working in hybrid delivery models (Agile / Waterfall)
Formal project management training beneficial but not essential
Minimum Criteria
Proven experience delivering technology or data‑led change
Strong requirements and solution definition capability
Confident engagement with business and technical stakeholders
Experience working in complex or enterprise environments
