We are seeking resumes for Electrical Project Engineering Co-ops (Multiple Openings for Spring 2026) at our Gladstone, VA. Paper Mill.
Electrical Project Engineer Co-Op Responsibilities include:
Work with the Project Engineering group to p lan, develop, coordinate and direct assigned engineering projects to a successful completion
Work with Project Engineers as a resource for capital projects.
Work on special projects assigned to assist engineers, teach responsibility, and improve communication.
Support mill through use of established electrical maintenance, reliability and engineering best practices and processes
Utilize computer software for P&ID drawing and assist in maintaining equipment files.
Collect data resulting from investigations and perform / obtain analyses up-date. Provide report with recommendations and conclusions.
Will be required to work with other lab personnel, operators, and supervisors.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a student in good standing with the University
Currently enrolled majoring in Electrical Engineering or equivalent applicable engineering program
The student will have either completed the Freshman year or will have completed the Freshman year when co-op begins
A minimum grade point average of 3.0 is required
Must pass a drug screen
Must be eligible to work in the US full-time.
Express interest in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing as a career.

Ability to exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Ability to read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports.
PAY & BENEFITS:
Salary Range:
$30.00 hr. Seniors
$29.00 hr. Juniors
$27.00 hr. Sophomores
$25.00 hr. Freshmen
$1000.00 Monthly Housing Stipend
1.5 pay over 40 hours in a week
Reimbursement of Relocation to and from co-op assignment
