IBM Process Delivery Specialist-Procure to Pay Supervisor in Giza, Egypt

Your role and responsibilities
The AP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts' payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting month-end close activities.
Required technical and professional expertise
Supervise daily AP activities including invoice processing, booking, and payment preparation.
Ensure all supplier invoices are properly reviewed, approved, and recorded in the system.
Manage payment cycles (local & foreign suppliers) in coordination with Treasury.
Handle vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
Monitor AP aging and ensure overdue items are cleared.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, stamp duty if applicable).
Support month-end and year-end closing related to AP (accruals, GR/IR, balances confirmation).
Prepare monthly AP reports and KPIs for management.
Lead, train, and distribute work among AP team members.
Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Requestors to resolve invoice and receiving issues.
Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement of AP processes and controls.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
