Your role and responsibilities
The Senior SAP CO Consultant should be highly knowledgeable with required SAP Controlling module business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules. This individual will lead practitioners to develop and maintain the configuration and functional design documents and support role-based profile changes. You will be advising client executives and leaders on the benefits delivered by SAP CO, as strategic assets of their broader Finance Transformation.
Required technical and professional expertise
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
SAP FICO certification is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules:
FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA).
CO: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders (IO) and Product Costing (CO-PC) including Material Ledger.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Knowledge of tax configuration, bank integrations, and electronic payments.
Understanding of ABAP debugging, SAP BW, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an advantage.
Solid understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.).
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP FICO across implementation, support, or consulting roles.
Strong business process knowledge and business process blue printing experience
Proven experience in end-to-end SAP FICO project implementations (full project lifecycle).
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments.
Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge of SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
