Navajo Transitional Energy Co LLC Production Technician in Gillette, Wyoming

Summary of Position:
These positions are full-time regular and will be primarily responsible for the safe operation of mining equipment. Position requires operating in all conditions and in various digging configurations.

Necessary Qualifications:
- A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
- Candidate should have satisfactory safety record, as well as a strong commitment to individual and team performance and accountability.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous heavy equipment experience in a mining related industry.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to continuously sit while rotating and/or frequent forward bending on an occasional vibrating seat. The employee is required to continuously push up to 35 pounds vertically and/or occasionally push up to 35 pounds horizontally. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; operate controls at an elevated level; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required occasionally to stand with rare forward bending and/or rare rotation. Rarely the employee is required to pull up to 60 pounds; walk; climb including stairs or ladder; and kneel or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment: Works in site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. Working outdoors in all weather conditions and working in the cab of equipment.
