True Over The Road OTR Driver in Gillette, Wyoming

This is a full-time, over-the-road position, assigned to the terminal in Gillette, Wyoming

*What You'll Do: *

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for long-haul deliveries.
  • Adhere to all DOT and company safety and compliance standards.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs (electronic or paper) of driving hours and activities.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or issues.
  • Deliver freight on schedule and handle paperwork at pickup/drop-off.
  • Secure cargo properly and ensure load integrity.

     

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities

  • A minimum of two (2) years OTR experience.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements established by the Department of Transportation (DOT), including drug/alcohol testing.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and an attitude conducive to safety.
  • Willingness to be on the road for extended periods.
  • Manage oversize and overweight loads.

     

Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the ability to obtain all endorsements within 120 days of hire.
  • Ability to be trained in and proficiently use business-specific applications, including but not limited to:
  • ELD, Dispatch apps, electronic DVIR, app-based safety training

     

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a DOT physical.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
