Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Gilberts, Illinois
Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Gilberts, Illinois. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering an opportunity to contribute to payroll operations while gaining exposure to a dynamic, multi-state environment. The ideal candidate will excel in supporting payroll processes, managing reporting tasks, and ensuring accuracy in a dual-system setting.
Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze payroll data to support processing and reporting activities.
• Assist in managing payroll operations for employees across multiple states.
• Create, maintain, and present detailed payroll reports to stakeholders.
• Support payroll functions without direct processing responsibilities, focusing on accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate within dual-system environments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
• Work closely with HR and accounting teams to streamline payroll-related processes. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state operations. • Proficiency in handling payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees. • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, including SAP SuccessFactors HCM. • Familiarity with generating detailed payroll reports and analyzing data. • Ability to work effectively within dual-system environments and manage double entries. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations at the federal and state levels. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
The salary range for this position is $26/hr to $32/hr. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
